RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. CONTESTANT - A contestant is any individual or group that will prepare and cook entries for the purpose of being judged. Contestant and all team members must be amateur competitors. The contest organizer may not cook in any category in this contest. Contestant will be referred to as “Cook.” This is an unsanctioned event. The rules and scoring for this event are loosely based on the Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS) criteria. No alcohol may be consumed outside the cooks assigned area. This is a family friendly event, therefore, the usage of marijuana or any other illegal substance will not be permitted during this event.
